SLRCS President strengthen the bi lateral relationship with the Togolese Red Cross and the ICRC mission

While in the Republic of Togo, the leadership of our National Governing Board, His Grace the Bishop Sahr Christian Fayia paid courtesy calls on the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) mission in Togo as well as the Togo National Red Cross to strengthen the bilateral relationship.
The President during his courtesy call engaged the ICRC mission to extend IHL training opportunities for the Sierra Leone Military and police; a call the ICRC mission in Togo noted positively.
The Togo 🇹🇬 National Red Cross also assured the President of strengthening ties with the Sierra Leone National Red Cross as their West Coast counterpart. During the courtesy calls, condolences in respect of the recent tanker explosion fire disaster in Freetown were expressed and our volunteers commended for their Frontline role in the response.
President’s visit to the two offices in Togo is expected to yield a National dividend shortly.
